News of the marriage of leader Joomin (40, birth name Park Jun Kyu) of old-school K-Pop group Bijou is now belatedly reaching fans.
It has recently been reported that Joomin started a family with his significant other, who is 20 years his junior, earlier this year. They were blessed with a son this past July.
The former singer debuted with female member Dabi in co-ed duo group Bijou back in 1998. The two rose to fame with hit songs "Love Love'' and ''I Love You More Than Anyone'', however, Dabi dropped out of the group in 2000 after the release of their third album.
Afterwards, Joomin brought in new member Yerim in 2003 and Jung Gahee in 2005 to carry on with Bijou. However, he too left the industry in 2009 with ''Bye Bye Bye'' as his last song. Joomin then left for California to study abroad at UCLA, and in 2010, he became a business man and is currently the director of a mid-sized company.
Surprised by the news, netizens left comments such as "Congratulations", "Wow, a 20 year gap?", and "What's Dabi doing these days?"
