Dal Shabet's Serri has been appointed the new leader of the group with their now ex- leader, Viki, having withdrawn from the group.

On June 4th, a spokesperson for Dal Shabet's agency revealed, "After leader Viki left the group for her solo activities, after much discussion between the group members and staff, Serri, the oldest of the group, has been decided as the new leader."

Shortly after she was chosen as the  new leader, Serri wrote on her me2day, "I am now realizing the role of a leader and the responsibilities that come with it that I did not notice before when Viki unni was here. I will work to become the best role model and to create the best teamwork that people will envy with the Dal Shabet members. Dal Shabet fighting!" along with a picture.

In related news, Dal Shabet will be releasing their first official album, 'Bang Bang' on June 6th.
