Rising star Kim Soo Hyun commented on his role in hit historical drama 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun' on the recent broadcast of tvN's 'Taxi'.
Though it's common for actors to think of past memories from their personal lives as motivation to tear up for emotional acting scenes, Kim Soo Hyun disclosed that his tactic for "sobbing scenes" in 'Moon-Sun' is simply to become fully immersed in the script and role itself.
The actor also revealed that during filming of a kiss scene with 'Moon-Sun' co-star Han Ga In, he couldn't stop bursting out laughing so they had to do the scene multiple times.
When asked whether he had any worries about his sudden increase in popularity due to his 'Moon-Sun' role, Kim Soo Hyun answered, "Because of all the love I'm receiving, I feel more responsible, and I'm becoming more and more cautious [of my actions]."
The 'Taxi' episode featuring Kim Soo Hyun was broadcast April 5th at 12:10AM KST.
