On March 21st, the '2012 Canadian Music Festival' was held in Toronto and marked the 30th anniversary of the event.
On the same day, the '2k12 Korea Night' concert was also scheduled to kick off; the biggest K-pop concert ever to be held in Canada yet! K-Pop artists who performed on stage included TEEN TOP, Brian Joo, G.NA, and A Pink. A total of seven artists attended the night and serenaded fans with 'kick ass' performances.
A representative of CMF was pleasantly surprised by the enormous attention drawn in by the concert and remarked, "K-Pop was the hottest event at the concert. Even fans who weren't able to purchase tickets formed long lines in front of the concert; it was by far the most successful concert we've seen."
The representative went on to praise Teen Top's amazing performance. "There's a lot of people who have become fans after watching K-Pop related videos on Youtube. However, after watching a glimpse of Teen Top's performance, there have been a lot of North American fans interested in the boys as well."
Teen Top's label, T.O.P Media shared their thoughts on Teen Top's growing popularity in North America. "To welcome Teen Top's first appearance in Canada, fans came to the airport. It attracted a lot of people and attention."
