After spending a year in and out of court in defense of charges accusing him of kidnapping and assaulting his manager, rapper Crown J recently made an update on his Twitter seemingly clarifying his innocence once again.
For those of you that need a recap on the case, the court reached a verdict in December that named him innocent on the charges of violence, confinement, and kidnapping, but guilty on the charges of forcing his manager to sign over a yacht.
On March 27th, he finally tweeted, "Hahaha. My former manager who made me out to be a liar has finally been arrested today. Thank you for everyone who believed me up until the end."
According to his agency, his manager was arrested on the 26th for committing fraud against Crown J by fooling him into co-signing for a loan of about $177,000 USD and using it up all on his own to later slander Crown J for assault.
