The Wonder Girls American movie 'The Wonder Girls' premieres on Teen Nick tonight at 8:00PM EST / 5:00 PM PST, and the local media as well as the Korean public have already set their expectations quite high.

This is the first time for the Wonder Girls to participate in a movie with their names and reputation on the line, and the members will be showcasing some new charms in their new film. The girls who will be exhibiting their acting skills speak fluent English throughout the entire movie which tells the story of Wonder Girls' breakthrough into America, as well as the friendships and love that surround their experience.

Teen Nick is a television channel for teenagers under Viacom/MTV Networks, one of the four major media corporations in the world. 'The Wonder Girls' movie will be run a total of six times on the channel which caters to 70,000,000 people and the local media is showing their interest at the birth of the next generation's biggest TV stars.

Ahead of it's release, the MV to "The DJ IS Mine" was unveiled at the 2012 CES and it received major attention for its charismatic dance moves and addictive melody. The performance by the School Gyrls in the video only further heightened expectations for the movie release, and the girls also received praise and support at the movie preview that was held in Los Angeles on January 20th.

JYP Entertainment remarked, "The movie is their first major project after debuting in the States in 2009, and not only do we have big expectations, but the local media is showing their high interest as well.
