Rumors have been swirling thick and fast over Kang Ho Dong's replacement on the popular variety program, 'Star King', and it's led to an official statement from the crew itself. On September 21st, a representative of 'Star King' held a phone interview with Sports Seoul and revealed, "There is no official announcement about Kang Ho Dong's replacement for 'Star King' yet". They continued, "The producers are still deciding over the matter and we might have an answer by tonight". On the 9th, Kang Ho Dong held a press conference over his tax crime accusations and stated that he will discuss his temporary withdrawal from the entertainment industry with the producers of his shows. Prior to his leave, Ho Dong hosted four shows, including SBS's 'Star King', 'Strong Heart', MBC's 'Golden Fishery' and, KBS's 'Happy Sunday - 1 Night, 2 Days'. With many different names being thrown in for Ho Dong's positions, netizens have been keeping a close eye on any potential movement from the shows' side.
