SECRET will be leaving for Japan on July 4th in order to prepare for their debut Japanese showcase in Harajuku, Tokyo. As reported previously, their debut track is a Japanese version of "Madonna", which was chosen in part due to the many requests of their Japanese fans asking to hear the song in their language. SECRET said, "We're honestly nervous and pressured, but there's a lot of anticipation going on. Like in Korea, we will work hard and do our best." The girls were then asked whether they felt any pressure about debuting at the same time as T-ara, who are debuting on July 5th at the SHIBUYA-AX, as well as promoting alongside the likes of fellow Korean girl groups, KARA and SNSD. Zinger replied, "With the popularity of K-pop soaring, a lot of other girl groups are promoting in Japan. But I think it's the same as promoting with them in Korea. We're going to win with a color of our own, just like we've done up until now." Ji Eun added, "As opposed to competing against them, we want to focus on showing everyone that 'this is the level of Korean girl groups'. We'll be working hard to achieve that." The girls will be returning on July 6th to continue their "Starlight Moonlight" promotions. Source + Photos: Sports Chosun via Nate
