With recent reports of the cast of MBC's "Ripley" being rejected from the variety program, "Come to Play", netizens have been turning their attention to the reason why. According to information revealed by a large majority of drama representatives, the "Ripley" cast - Kim Seung Woo, Kang Hye Jung, Lee Da Hae, Park Yoochun - were in discussion for a guest appearance on "Come to Play" later this month. Unfortunately, producers of the show reportedly made a request to "Ripley" asking if it was possible to exclude Park Yoochun from the line-up and only have the remaining three cast members guest on the show. Eventually, the "Ripley" cast decided to let the entire thing go, as if it never happened. Because of his ongoing lawsuit with SM Entertainment, Park Yoochun and his fellow JYJ members have been battling obstacles against the public broadcast networks for some time now, making many wonder whether this is the work of backdoor pressure once again. One anonymous broadcast representative stated, "Park Yoochun's 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' was highly popular, but he was not able to make guest appearances on the same network variety shows. I feel that it's the same within MBC; there seems to be conflicts between MBC's drama and variety division." [gallery columns=4] Source: Star News via Nate, OSEN via Naver
