The late Jang Ja Yeon's former manager as well as agency CEO, will each be receiving a possible 1 year prison sentence. The district prosecutor's office of Suwon revealed on October 1st, "We will be demanding a one-year imprisonment sentence for Kim and Yoo." Kim was charged without detention in June 2008, after accusing Jang of slandering him - Jang had claimed that he had assaulted her. Once she asked to terminate her contract, he began threatening her until the actress took her own life. Yoo reported in March that he had a series of documents relating to Jang Ja Yeon and was charged without detention for defaming Kim. The two verdict hearings will open on October 29th.
