One of the bigger names in Korean hip-hop, Double K, has six years of fame under his belt but has yet to hold a solo concert. All that's about to change, as it was just announced that Double K will be holding his "Unplugged Concert with Primary Skool" on October 23rd at Seoul HongDae Theaters. Double K wanted to make his first live memorable by utilizing only acoustics for the event. To do so, he requested help from Primary and his 6-member band "Primary Skool". Primary is known as the producer behind hip-hop units Supreme Team and Dynamic Duo. Double K expressed his eagerness, saying, "You will experience a harmony between hip-hop and an acoustic band. We're painstakingly preparing for this live concert." The concert representative stated, "Although we could host a fancy concert with electronic sound and effects, this concert will show value in the traditional sound. Our endeavor will stir hearts in other hip-hop artists." Additionally, this concert will feature a special guest lineup of Superstar K's Gil Hak Mi, ALi, and Dok2. Photo + Source: newsen
