Due to popular demand, SNSD’s Jessica and comedian Park Myung Soo performed their hit song Naeng Myun (Cold Noodles) on this week’s Music Core. Naeng Myun has surprisingly become a hit song since it was first revealed to the world on the Infinity Challenge Duet Song Festival. Because of this, Jessica and Park Myung Soo had no choice but to perform the song on MBC Music Core, for lovers of the song. Naeng Myun isn’t the first Infinity Challenge duet song to appear on Music Core, that honor goes to MC Yoo, Tiger JK and his wife Yoon Mi Rae’s song Let’s Dance. Even though it didn’t win the Infinity Challenge Duet Song Festival, Naeng Myun is without a doubt the most popular song from the festival. This performance also marks Park Myung Soo’s return to the stage after years of absence. On a side note, the much talked about backup dancer Ji Yul, who before was placed behind Jessica prior to her new fame, is now all the way on the left of the stage, almost out of view of the camera. Jessica’s cutesy vocals are appealing to the ears and Myung Soo is hilarious as always but I do think that the song will eventually get annoying if it’s overplayed constantly.
