SBS will be creating a guy version of their successful drama, Temptation of Wife, calling it Temptation of Angel and tentatively set for broadcast in October. Temptation of Angel will be written by Kim Soon Ok, who also wrote Temptation of Wife which became a runaway success. The story will be about a guy who takes on another identity to carry out his revenge. As there are many similarities in drama titles and storyline, many are calling Temptation of Angel the guy version of Temptation of Wife. The male lead role hasn't been decided yet but according to screenwriter, Kim Soon Ok, it will be someone similar to her female lead, Jang Seo Hee in Temptation of Wife, preferably an actor in his 30s and with decent acting skills. Temptation of Wife became a rating success for SBS in Korea and managed to hit 40.6% for a single episode. Many are thus anticipating the broadcast of Temptation of Angel because of the popularity of Temptation of Wife earlier in the year.
