Legendary Korean rock band YB (also known as Yoon Do Hyun Band or Yoon Band) has been invited to the U.S. to participate in this summer’s Vans Warped Tour 2009. YB will join the last leg of the Warped Tour in mid August and play in 7 cities. This isn’t YB’s first time playing in the U.S. though. In the not too distant past, they played at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas. Nonetheless, the Warped Tour is another great opportunity for YB to introduce themselves to a whole new audience. Honestly, this year’s Warped Tour looks like it’s going to be the same shit, different year. I am a fan of YB though, and if I could I would go just to see them.
