Girls' Generation paid tribute to their moms in this afternoon's SBS Inkigayo as photos of each member (when they were little) with their own moms were made public while they were performing Dear Mom, a track off their first mini-album, Gee (no more remix!).
Dear Mom was written by singer Ivy while her boyfriend, Kim Tae Sung composed and is about the feelings of a daughter towards her mom. According to Inkigayo PD Park Seung Hoon before the show, "We requested from Girls' Generation, photos of them with their moms when they were little. Some members took out photos of themselves when they were only babies while others bought photos when they were older and had took it in the parks."
During their stage, as Girls' Generation were performing, large full-blown framed photos of them with their moms were shown on stage with them while individual messages (scroll down to view them) to each of their moms were played out in a video slideshow and was probably the first time something like this had been done on a music show.
If you are wondering why Tiffany is sitting down, she is still nursing her injured ankle.
