Fans of Epik High are patiently awaiting for their new album. Epik High has been slowly releasing information on their website, Map The Soul. According to their website, the new album will be released on March 27th, 2009. They won't go through any distributors, you can purchase the album only on their website. Epik High is now independent and no longer under a label, their terms with Woolim Entertainment / CJ Music ended with the last album. The Book Album would've been too expensive for their fans if they went through the traditional production process and distribution. Therefore they cut costs by eliminating the middle man and directly selling to fans. The reason for a "Book Album" is to encourage the youth to be more "creative" in the way they do things. Showing people that it's not too difficult if you put your mind to it. Personally, I can't wait because Epik High is one of my favorite artists. Thanks to jjanga for the tip and information.
