In an interview with [b]Newsen[/b] on the 6th, [b]Girls’ Generation[/b] expressed their feelings on seeing last year's rival, the [b]Wonder Girls[/b]. The [b]Wonder Girls[/b] took on a hectic schedule in 2008 with the release of [b]'So Hot'[/b] and [b]'Nobody'[/b]. Members of [b]Girls’ Generation[/b] spoke openly about the [b]Wonder Girls[/b] and stated they were [i]"very close"[/i] with the [b]Wonder Girls[/b]. They also continued by stating that they [i]"really liked"[/i] [b]'So Hot'[/b] and [b]'Nobody'[/b]." [b]Girls’ Generation[/b] took several months off beginning in 2008, meanwhile the [b]Wonder Girls[/b] took on a very demanding schedule with the release of [b]'So Hot'[/b] and [b]'Nobody'[/b]. The hard work led them to be major competition for each of the award ceremonies held near the end of the year. [b]Girls’ Generation[/b] did admit they were somewhat [i]"restless"[/i] when seeing the [b]Wonder Girls[/b] take part in all their activities. Though they followed up stating they still liked the [b]Wonder Girls[/b] enough to [i]"dance"[/i] and [i]"sing"[/i] to their songs. They also expressed [i]"feelings of encouragement"[/i] towards the [b]Wonder Girls[/b] when they performed. [b]Girls’ Generation[/b] will be releasing their, highly anticipated, mini-album on January 7th. The mp3 of '[b]Gee[/b]' was released on the 5th and has been the recent talk of the K-Pop world. And look out for the full '[b]Gee[/b]' MV, early tomorrow, only on allkpop. Because johnnydorama is sure to be the first to get his dirty little paws on it. Well it's nice to see that both group of ladies seem to have a mutual respect for one another. Maybe the fans could learn from them or they could just continue to bash one another.
