Sung Ki Hoon is back in the game, this time to stop the tragedy from unfolding again in season 2 of Netflix's 'Squid Game'.
Premiering worldwide on December 26, 'Squid Game 2' follows the returning protagonist Sung Ki Hoon (played by Lee Jung Jae) as he attempts to dig deeper into the mysteries surrounding the dangerous games and confront the mastermind behind it all, the 'Front Man' (played by Lee Byung Hun). In order to do so, he decides to play another round of the game, donning on his #456 jersey once again.
The new games kick off with a familiar game from season 2, a deadly round of 'Red Light, Green Light' led by the giant doll 'Young Hee'. But some of the rules of the games has changed, with all participants casting their votes on whether to continue the games or stop after every round.
Season 2 also brings back familiar faces like Ki Hoon's friend Jung Bae (played by Lee Seo Hwan), the 'Front Man's brother Joon Ho (played by Wi Ha Joon), and the 'Invitation Man' (played by Gong Yoo). Viewers should also keep their eyes peeled for the riveting performances of new faces like Lim Siwan, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Shim, Choi Seung Hyun (T.O.P), and Jo Yu Ri when the new season fully drops in December.
