Brian opened up about arguing with his Fly to the Sky groupmate Hwanhee.

On the April 9th episode of the YouTube series 'Heyday', Brian talked about arguments with his fellow Fly to the Sky member Hwanhee, saying, "We've never had a physical fight before. I think we're one of the few teams that actually didn't."

He continued, "Since it's just the two of us in the group, we couldn't physically hit each other," revealing if they were disappointed by each other they'd just go into their own rooms. Looking back on dorming together for 4 years, Brian said, "Because they were afraid we would fight, SM Entertainment asked us to use separate dorms."

As for an argument he remembers, Brian revealed it happened around the time Fly to the Sky were at the end of their contract with SM Entertainment, and he was thinking of returning to the United States to study. Brian told Hwanhee at the time, "After the end of our contract, I don't want to do music anymore."

Brian explained, "I think he was saddened that I decided that by myself. He was angry and yelled at me, 'Why are you deciding yourself instead of together with me?!'"
