Oh My Girl's YooA has opened up about malicious comments.
On the March 7th episode of 'No Back Tak', YooA featured as a guest and talked about how malicious comments affect her. She expressed about host Tak Jae Hoon, "I heard that you don't feel any negative effect even when you get malicious comments," and he responded, "That's a lie."
YooA continued, "When I was younger, I was scared and upset that anyone would hate me. I wondered what I did wrong for them to hate me. Some people even hated the fact that I was breathing. Now that I've been insulted a lot, I don't feel as hurt anymore."
The Oh My Girl member also revealed she has dreams beyond music, saying, "My label still suggests promoting as a singer rather than acting. However, it's something I definitely want to challenge myself to."
In other news, YooA is making a comeback with 'Borderline' on March 14 KST.

I imagine they develop coping mechanisms, at some point they have to realise that there's no point in worrying about it, haters going to hate no matter what you do, and at the end of the day, it's just text on a screen. In the context of real life they're meaningless.
.
Like on this site to a certain extent, there are users whose comments get ignored because they're clearly trolls and don't have a good word to say about anyone, they just exude hate and bad language because they think it's shocking. Some of them are staff trolls, presumably with the remit to stir up comments from others (you were outed when we had that brief foray into a new comments system, and turned out to be sysadmin for it, I imagine that's why it disappeared so fast, lol).
