SHINee's Key transformed into a news anchor for a day on MBC's 'News Today'!
On the September 16 installment of the morning news program, the SHINee made his entrance while dancing to his latest solo title track, "Gasoline". Here, Key revealed that he finally decided to appear in-person on the MBC daily news program after unintentionally appearing 5 times through his clips on 'I Live Alone'. It was then pointed out that most of Key's clips were used when reporting on consumer patterns on the news program's daily content on the economy, and Key commented in response, "At first, I was surprised as well that I came out on the news. But at the same time, I was glad that I didn't make the news for something bad."
Next, Key even delivered several pieces of news! First, Key introduced video artist Nam June Paik's representative installation 'The More The Better', on display at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, for the first time in 3 years. The idol also relayed news that a traditional banquet experience, recreating the royal ceremony held in Changgyeong Palace during the Joseon dynasty, will be held beginning next week for two weeks. Although the idol made a few cute mistakes during his first ever attempt at being a news anchor, he was still able to successfully wrap up his 'News Today' appearance with a smile.
