Daesung has released a belated acceptance speech after BIGBANG's recent 'M! Countdown' music show win.

On April 18 KST, he took to his personal YouTube channel 'D'splay' to release a video titled "An exclusive interview with DaesungㅣDS & D'splay!!!." In the video, Daesung, whose identity is usually hidden in his videos, plays the role of a 'special guest' Daesung, who is speaking with D'splay, a cartoon tiger narrated by Daesung himself who is described as a "Mt. Hwaak army assistant."

In the clip, D'splay asks Daesung if he knew about the win. The idol responds that he found out online and that the group did not have the opportunity to express how they felt receiving the award.

When asked to make a statement, he says, "It's an honor to say how we feel about it through D'splay channel! Thank you so much, everyone. It's been four years since we released a new song. We put a lot of work and thought into it. I felt that this song was remembered not only by our thoughts but also by all of your pasts and present. It's such an honor, and I sincerely thank you."

Daesung then admits that he is nervous, pretending that he is about to cry before adding, "Also... I love you so much."

The video ends with D'splay losing connection with Daesung, with a phone off-hook sound playing in the background.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG's new single "Still Life" has achieved two music show wins thus far, receiving #1 on the most recent episodes of both 'M! Countdown' and 'Inkigayo.'
