On February 2, EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun held his 'The Best Day' fan meeting in Manila as the global ambassador of the Filipino clothing brand, BENCH.
Dressed casually in pants and a blue jacket, Baekhyun opened the show with his vocal performance of "Good Morning." During the following Q&A, the artist expressed his desire to visit Cebu, Bohol, and Boracay as his trips had only been for work.
"Before, I don't like nature because I'm quite busy with work. But I started to be interested in nature," he said, adding that he likes listening to music while walking by the beach side. On choosing between hiking, camping, or swimming, Baekhyun prefers hiking over the two.
In September 2024, Baekhyun released his mini-album 'Hello, World,' featuring the title track "Pineapple Slice." When asked about his experience working on its music video, he shared that he had imagined bats for the video: "I was thinking of a vampire concept."
"The location was beautiful. I felt good during the shoot. I also liked the culture while shooting on the road. People were waving at me," said Baekhyun. "My schedule for the MV shoot was not that hectic so I really had fun."
On being BENCH's ambassador, he said that he's honored to be one. "I know BENCH is a brand that's loved by a lot of Filipinos. Though being a BENCH ambassador, I was able to meet EXO-Ls in the Philippines as well."
As the fan meeting neared its end, Baekhyun performed "Pineapple Slice" and "Rendez-Vous." He also hinted at a possible solo concert later this year. The artist held his solo 'Lonsdaleite' tour, which included Manila as one of its stops. "I might come back to the Philippines for a concert this year. I'll try to come back as fast as possible."
