A person identified merely as "A" discovered the animal at the time and said, "I looked after the pup for 5 hours before rescuers from the animal shelter came and took him away."
"The puppy seemed so innocent and full of aegyo, and made me shed tears while I sent him off to the shelter," he confessed via an online community board.
Mr. A revealed numerous photos of the adorable puppy, causing viewers to smile helplessly. However, there was one unfortunate problem; the puppy was deemed as 'time-sensitive' and would be euthanized if not adopted in time.
Upon many circumstances, once the protection period is lifted after reaching 20 days, the shelter officials have no choice but to put down the animal.
But lucky enough, the puppy was given a second chance and was met with a loving family.
According to an announcement made by the Korean Animal Rescue and Management Association (KARMA)'s official homepage, the puppy was adopted by a new owner on November 14.
The photo provided consisted of the same furry friend snuggling in the guardian's warm embrace.
Just like this tiny puppy, there are countless other animals still at risk and need help in finding a new home. Here's hoping for the rescue and safety of other canines alike.
