In the clip provided above, SBS News goes over the plot of the movie, saying that it is about two fated lovers who fell for each other centuries ago, but meet again in the present, a familiar story to fans of 'You Who Came From the Stars.'
Around the 0:40 mark, Reporter Kim Ji Hye further points out that the actress' behind-the-scenes pictures show some fashion similarities with the two SBS dramas as well, as she is wearing what appears to be a Joseon era hanbok and a private school uniform. As it is a Chinese movie the picture of the hanbok is particularly alarming, however, later pictures show the actress in traditional Chinese garb, possibly disposing of the random hanbok or using it in a way that has yet to be explained.
Around the 1:50 mark, SBS News shows a clip of a Chinese broadcast that states that the Chinese public also find the movie ridiculous, with comment such as, "People are responding, 'They're even plagiarizing the name'. Netizens maintain the position that, 'Before you get even more criticized you should stop'."
This past week, 'The Heirs Who Came From the Stars' revealed their preview and posters, only to receive more criticism of possible plagiarism. It is not only being compared to the two SBS dramas but also a famous Chinese movie.
On September 16, a Chinese Entertainment representative noted on his Weibo account, "I saw the 'The Heirs Who Came From the Stars' preview. It's similar to the 'Tiny Times' preview," and then added later with a picture comparison, "The posters [of 'Tiny Times' and 'The Heirs Who Came From the Stars'] are definitely similar. What is everyone else's thoughts?"

Despite the accusations, the people behind 'The Heirs Who Came From the Stars' remain optimistic. A representative stated, "We will do a great job so that we will receive a favorable review." They added, "Despite receiving criticism after the screening it's not too late [to do well]. We can't understand the criticisms we are receiving now." They also clarified to curious netizens, "We are earnestly creating our work. We never made this jokingly."
'The Heirs Who Came from the Stars' will hold its first online screening on the 19th. Only a few days until K-Drama fans can see whether the plagiarism accusations hold true or not.
