Keeho and Yechan's mother has been publicly called out amid a lawsuit involving her alleged large-scale fraud.
On an online forum, netizens analyzed and discussed recent appearances and interviews of brothers P1Harmony's Keeho and 82MAJOR's Yechan, as accusations continue to surface that their mother defrauded more than 10 people, amassing a total of over 30 billion won.
In an exclusive report by Xports News, it was belatedly revealed that P1Harmony member Keeho’s mother has been sued for fraud and violating the Act on the Regulation of Fund-Raising Business Without Permission.
In a photograph of one of the alleged victims, the placards in the form of protest reads:
"P1Harmony Keeho's mother! The 1.1 billion won you took using your son and pastor brother as leverage! It's been a year and six months, and you still haven't returned the money or made any contact.
Even your children are ignoring this! Your brother (Pastor Kim Ji Yeon of Toronto Connect Church) is also turning a blind eye! Keeho, tell your mother to cooperate with the police investigation and return the money as soon as possible! The victims can't endure this any longer!"
As the lawsuit unfolds, one of the alleged victims publicly called out the mother on social media, revealing her real name and directly challenging P1Harmony and 82MAJOR's respective agencies to sue them back "if they have nothing to hide."
The victim's full message reads:
"Today, I finally met Kim Jenny during the cross-examination.
Kim Jenny’s real name is Kim Myung Shin, and from now on, I plan to refer to her by her real name. She clearly didn’t know whether her own recordings existed, as she kept lying and contradicting herself. So, I presented the recorded transcripts one by one and had the investigator fact-check them on the spot. Originally, she had the same lawyer as her accomplice, but she brought in a newly appointed lawyer from FNC. Then, she started portraying herself as a victim.
As expected, she didn’t even acknowledge what I’ve been through and only talked about how she was affected through her child's SNS. When it was convenient for her, she had no problem using her child and older brother’s name to guarantee things. Just as I predicted. Even the investigator could tell that her attitude had completely changed compared to last time. I simply responded with evidence and barely said anything else.
I wonder if FNC is monitoring my Instagram or if someone keeps feeding them information.
Either way, this is good. If they have nothing to hide, they should refute it, and FNC should go ahead and sue me. 82MAJOR's company, where her youngest son Yoon Ye Chan is signed, should also sue me.
I will continue to expose what kind of things this mother has done under her own name. Kim Myung Shin and Pastor Kim Ji Yeon, you disgraceful and wicked adults."
Meanwhile, netizens following the case are also scrutinizing Yechan's statements on a radio program where he mentioned that his mother sets aside money for large donations to "third world countries" and scammers, despite their family struggling financially.
Keeho has also come under scrutiny for his actions, particularly for his message to fans discussing people without a job, in which he stated: "When I see an unemployed person, I always wonder what their parents do for a living."
According to fans, he also showed off expensive accessories from Chrome Hearts, claiming they were gifts from his mother and uncle, further fueling curiosity and discussion among netizens. Her daughter Anna, who is the sister of Keeho and Yechan, is also an influencer with over 260k followers.
Additionally, netizens shared that one of the alleged victims was forced to move from a 40-pyeong apartment to a small semi-basement, where a family of five is now living.
