tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama 'My Dearest Nemesis' is on a winning streak, setting new personal viewership records for two consecutive episodes. 

The sixth episode, which aired on March 4, recorded an average nationwide rating of 5.1%, peaking at 5.9%. In the Seoul metropolitan area, it achieved an average of 4.9% and a peak of 5.6%, ranking first in its time slot across all cable and general programming channels.

The drama also dominated the age 20-49 demographic, tvN’s key audience, with a nationwide rating of 1.6%, securing the top spot across all channels, including public broadcasters.

Episode 6 captivated viewers with the romance between Baek Su Jeong (played by Moon Ga Young) and Ban Joo Yeon (portrayed by Choi Hyun Wook) following their drunken kiss. While Su Jeong was left unable to sleep, anticipating a confession, Joo Yeon, having blacked out, had no recollection of the kiss, creating a stark contrast that added to the drama’s intrigue.

Su Jeong waited expectantly for Joo Yeon’s reaction, but his confusion left her increasingly anxious. Unable to hold back, she confronted him, asking, “Are you just going to ignore what happened last night?” Joo Yeon, however, dismissed it as a “drunken mistake,” infuriating Su Jeong.

Unaware that Ju Yeon genuinely had no memory of the kiss, Su Jeong misunderstood him as a playboy, leading to a hilariously frustrated tooth-brushing scene. Meanwhile, Juyun launched his own mission to prove himself to be more than just a younger man or a company director in Su Jeong’s eyes. Taking advice from a married secretary, he subtly showcased his charm, catching Su Jeong when she almost slipped and treating employees to a luxurious buffet after a successful contract signing.

However, Su Jeong, still upset, remained indifferent to his efforts and, in a fit of frustration, went on a blind date. Hearing about her date unsettled Juyun, but his position as the heir to the Yongseong Group made him hesitate to pursue her further.

Yongseong Group’s chairwoman, Hyo Seon (played by Ban Hyo Jung), sternly warned Joo Yeon, “A successor cannot afford to make mistakes. Focus solely on the company and don’t let yourself be swayed by unnecessary emotions.” Struggling with his feelings, Joo Yeon tried to suppress his emotions for Su Jeong.

No longer able to indulge in his carefree alter ego "Black Dragon mode" as an heir, Joo Yeon decided to enjoy his last taste of freedom by attending a concert. However, Su Jeong’s voice lingered in his mind, and at that moment, his memories of the kiss came flooding back.

Meanwhile, Su Jeong was out shopping with her blind date, Yoon Ji Joo (played by Hong Jong Hyun), when suddenly, someone pulled her into a fitting room. It was Joo Yeon in full "Black Dragon mode." Shocked, Su Jeong listened as Joo Yeon confessed, “I know I sound crazy, but I just remembered everything. That was my first kiss.” Just then, a store employee knocked on the door, escalating the tension.

With Su Jeong realizing her growing feelings for Joo Yeon and Joo Yeon boldly pursuing her despite the risks, anticipation for their romance is at an all-time high.

Beyond domestic success, 'My Dearest Nemesis' is winning over international K-drama fans. As of February 28, it also topped the Hallyu-Asia category on Japan’s U-NEXT and ranked number 1 among Korean dramas on Indonesia’s leading OTT platform, Vidio, cementing its global appeal.

The undeniable chemistry between Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook has viewers hooked. Fans have flooded social media with reactions such as, “Baek Sujeong and Ban Juyun forever!
