On March 13 KST, actor Kim Soo Hyun's label Gold Medalist addressed media outlets with a short statement as follows:

"Hello, this is Gold Medalist.

We would like to issue a statement regarding the recent accusations made against Kim Soo Hyun by 'HOVERLAB'

In order to respond to these baseless rumors and allegations, Gold Medalist will release a full length statement based on factual evidence next week.

We apologize for causing the public discomfort with our delayed response. Please understand that this decision is intended to dismiss the rampant spread of one-sided claims.

Thank you."

According to industry insiders, Kim Soo Hyun is currently discussing the exact details of his press statement set for release next week with his agency. He will be speaking out with a new position for the first time since March 12 KST, when his agency reiterated in a press statement, "We maintain our previous position." 

Previously on March 10 KST, the entertainment YouTube channel 'HOVERLAB' alleged that Kim Soo Hyun dated the late actress Kim Sae Ron for 6-years since 2016, when Kim Sae Ron was 15-years old. However, their relationship soured after 2022, when Kim Sae Ron's public image took a toll after her DUI accident. Soon afterward, Gold Medalist demanded that Kim Sae Ron immediately pay off 700 million KRW in damages incurred by the Netflix drama 'Bloodhounds'. Kim Sae Ron, who was cut off from any source of income at the time, contacted Kim Soo Hyun multiple times to ask for more time to pay off the debt; however, Kim Soo Hyun refused to respond and eventually blocked her.  

In response to the 'HOVERLAB' allegations, Gold Medalist stated, "All of the allegations are entirely false, and we intend to retaliate with the severest legal measures possible." 

When Kim Soo Hyun's side answered with denial, 'HOVERLAB' went on to expose photos, messages, and letters reportedly exchanged between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron during their relationship. According to 'HOVERLAB', the photos, messages, and letters were provided directly by Kim Sae Ron's family members.

In light of the ongoing rumors, Kim Soo Hyun may be facing massive repercussions with various advertisement contracts and drama/TV production appearances. He is currently filming for the Disney+ original series 'Knock-Off'.
