On the 16th of last month, actress Kim Sae Ron passed away at the young age of 25. Twenty days later, on the 9th, her father and family members spoke with Daily Sports in an interview.

The grieving family expressed their distress, stating, "Because of YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, other cyber-wreckers, and the media that indiscriminately copied their videos, Sae Ron suffered immensely. Our family also went through hell together, and even now, our suffering has not ended."

Kim Sae Ron’s father requested that family members participating in the interview be referred to only as "family members" to protect them from further harm.

The family expressed their frustration, saying, "People talk so easily without knowing the hell we’ve been through. Should we have monitored her 24 hours a day? Should we have admitted her to a mental hospital? I heard the news while I was at work and rushed to Sae Ron, but she got into a car accident and was taken straight there without even receiving proper treatment."

Kim Sae Ron’s father condemned Lee Jin Ho and online media, stating, "Their actions are absolutely unforgivable. They didn’t just ruin Sae Ron’s life; they shattered an entire family. I will never forgive those who twist reality to fit their own narratives with such vile intentions, no matter what happens in this world."

At the same time, he expressed concern that Lee Jin Ho, cyber-wreckers, and the media could continue causing secondary harm to his family.

He continued, "On YouTube Shorts and other platforms, there are false claims about Sae Ron visiting the ossuary and opening the urn, and rumors that our family squandered the money she earned. Because of these things, my family, especially my two daughters, are being branded unfairly."

“Do we have to explain every day that this is fake news? Even if my wife and I can endure it, what about Sae Ron’s younger siblings? How do I protect my remaining daughters? If strangers start pointing fingers at them, are we supposed to live our entire lives under false accusations? I desperately want to remove those videos and set the record straight."

He admitted that he had considered confronting Lee Jin Ho directly but refrained, fearing his words would be recorded and misused. "I wanted to call him and curse at him, to tell him that what he’s saying isn’t true. But I held back because I knew he might twist it for his own benefit. I feel so wronged, angry, and devastated."

Kim Sae Ron’s father strongly urged for legal action, stating, "I want Lee Jin Ho to face legal consequences. Not just him, but also those who create and spread such malicious content, and those who leave hateful comments about our family." He firmly added, "Fortunately, there are people supporting me, and a law firm is currently gathering evidence."

He further explained, "I believe so many absurd YouTube videos and articles have been posted because we haven’t taken legal action yet. For the sake of my remaining family, I will move forward with legal proceedings with those assisting me."

After the interview, Kim Sae Ron’s father received a long text message around midnight. Here is the exact translation:

"Reporter, I am texting you late because I have something to say. You know I am a serial killer, right? We are already dead. What kind of mother or father can continue living after losing their beloved child? I am holding on and holding on, thinking about my remaining children, but I keep having dark thoughts.
