‘Netflix Korea’ has released a reaction highlight of the cast to their drama, ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’, featuring actors IU, Moon So Ri, and Park Hae Joon.

In the reaction where the actors shared commentary, IU reveals that she really drank alcohol during a scene where she had to portray being drunk. During a drinking scene with Park Hae Joon, who plays her father, she opted to take a shot instead of using makeup, which she was worried could made her look cute rather than drunk, ruining the realism.

In response, Park Hae Joon asks IU if he drank for the scene too, to which IU replies that she does not think so, but that he drank after the scene was done. Park Hae Joon then cheekily states that drinking after acting is a given.
Set in 1950s, Korea and led by actors IU and Park Bo Gum, ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ is an on-going slice-of-life series streaming on Netflix.
