Following her solo debut, ITZY’s Yeji is featured on the radio show ‘Escape at 2pm Cultwo Show’ on March 16.
The release of Yeji’s first EP, ‘Air’, as a solo artist, marks seven years since her debut with the group ITZY. Yeji reflects on her endeavor, expressing that she is 100% satisfied with the album, as she got to take on songs that she liked, wanted to sing, and wanted to challenge herself with.

When asked about her new hairdo, she explains that she might not be able to get back to long hair anytime soon as her shorter hair dries much faster and naturally. Yeji elaborates on her solo songs, beginning with her title track “Air,” which she participated in the lyrics-writing. She envisioned the stage performance while writing it, hoping to convey the emotion when faced with something breathtakingly captivating.

With the B-side “258,” she hopes to express her love for fans, which transcends regular space-time, persisting throughout “25 hours and 8 days.” Additionally, Yeji selects “Invasion” as the track that showcases a new side of her, where she tries to pull off a different vocal tone than usual.
