A Chinese couple was caught openly smoking electronic cigarettes during G-Dragon’s concert, drawing backlash from fans and widespread criticism online.
G-Dragon held his 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN KOREA' on March 29 and 30 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province

.
On March 30, a fan identified as “A,” who attended the concert on the 29th, shared their experience on social media, writing, “I was in the F3 section today. There were so many Chinese fans, it felt like I’d just been on a trip to China—but their concert manners were terrible. I feel bad for Ji Yong (G-Dragon).”
The fan continued, “They didn’t cheer, didn’t shout for an encore, didn’t even use light sticks. What made me really angry was that a Chinese couple started smoking electronic cigarettes during the performance.”
They added, “At first, the security guard told them to stop, but they pretended not to understand. After the guard left, they started vaping again. I’m still so angry.”

The fan also posted a video showing a man and woman smoking electronic cigarettes in the middle of the crowd during the concert.
After the footage surfaced, netizens expressed strong criticism, commenting:
“Is smoking allowed at concerts in China? How embarrassing to act like that in a foreign country.”
“Even in China, you can’t smoke at concerts. Why break the rules in Korea?”
"I’ve never seen someone vape at a concert in my life.”
"They seriously smoked there? That’s just insane.”
The incident has reignited discussions about proper concert etiquette and respect for shared spaces, especially during international events where diverse fan groups come together.
