Kakao Entertainment's new artists are gaining attention in the global market and Kakao's subsidiary Starship Entertainment plans to restructure its global expansion.

On February 14, Kakao Entertainment released an official press statement, stating, "Following last year's expansion of our global music influence through world tours by major artists like IU and IVE, this year we are introducing various new artists, including Starship Entertainment's rookie girl group KiiiKiii and the UK-based boy group dearALICE, launched by Kakao Entertainment and SM Entertainment's North American joint venture." The company added, "Through a structured support system, we are enhancing our multi-label system and collaborating with various partners to secure mega IPs with global influence, solidifying our position as a key player in the K-pop industry."

Starship Entertainment also recently announced the debut plans for its new girl group, KiiiKiii. This marks the label's first girl group launch in four years since IVE's debut in 2021. KiiiKiii is set to introduce an organic storytelling approach through social media, embodying a strong Gen Z aesthetic. Starship Entertainment has structured its business into three divisions—Division 1 (K.Will, MONSTA X, IVE), Division 2 (WJSN, CRAVITY), and Division 3 (KiiiKiii)—to maintain each artist’s unique identity while fostering synergy across teams and expanding both domestically and internationally.

Additionally, SM Entertainment, which maintains a close business partnership with Kakao Entertainment, is unveiling its own rookie projects. The agency is set to introduce an eight-member girl group, Hearts2Hearts, who will make their official debut on February 24 with their first single, 'The Chase.' Meanwhile, the male trainee group SMTR25 is already garnering attention, even before their debut, as they will participate in SMTOWN LIVE's global tour throughout the year.

A Kakao Entertainment representative stated, "While strengthening the global activities of our major artists, we will continue to discover and introduce talented new artists across various genres to the global stage, enhancing our competitiveness in the music industry." They added, "Through this, we aim to showcase diverse genres of K-pop to the global music market and establish an even stronger presence."
