SM Entertainment announced that it has partnered with SAMG Entertainment, the company behind the hit Korean animated series Catch! Teenieping, to launch collaborative content.

The two companies signed a strategic business agreement at SM’s headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on Monday. The agreement aims to expand their global content business through a long-term project. Attending the signing ceremony were SM Co-CEO Tak Young Jun and SAMG Entertainment CEO Kim Soo Hoon.

SM Entertainment stated, "Through this partnership, we will introduce a new paradigm of innovation by integrating K-pop with character IP (intellectual property). Collaborative content will feature SM artists alongside SAMG’s 3D animation characters."
The first project will feature a collaboration between the Catch! Teenieping IP and SM’s new girl group Hearts2Hearts, set to debut on February 24. The companies also plan to develop various forms of collaborative content and merchandise in the future.
Additionally, SM and SAMG Entertainment intend to expand their partnership into global markets, including Southeast Asia, China, and Japan.
