On February 3, SM Entertainment released a statement, announcing NCT WISH member Riku's return to group's activities after four months of hiatus due to health issues.
SM Entertainment's statement is as follows:
"Hello, this is NEO Production.
We would like to provide you with an update regarding NCT WISH member RIku's return to activities.
Riku, who temporarily halted his activities due to health reasons, has been focusing on rest and recovery. We are pleased to inform you that his condition has significantly improved.
Based on Riku's desire to resume his activities, as well as the opinions of medical professionals, we have decided to proceed with his return to activities.
The official scheduled activities planned for February will be carried out by the five members, Sion, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. Riku will be greeting the fans starting in March and will be participating in the '2025 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in' and contributing to the production of a new album, which is scheduled for release in the first of the year along with its related promotions and activities.
We sincerely thank all the fans who have continuously shown warm support and encouragement for Riku. We will also do our best to ensure that Riku can carry out his activities in good health.
