In the accompanying interview, Kim Tae Ri opened up about her experience working on 'Lost in Starlight,' Netflix’s first original animated series, set to be released in the first half of the year. She took part in both voice acting and live-action filming for the project.
"As a child, I briefly dreamed of becoming a voice actor. I used to imitate the dubbed voices from animations and foreign TV shows," Kim shared. "So when this opportunity came my way, I felt incredibly grateful."
She went on to reveal a unique aspect of the production process. "For some scenes, we actually filmed them as if we were shooting a movie, with the camera director capturing my movements. It was fascinating to see my physical performance translated directly into the animated character’s actions," she added.
Regarding her recent state of mind, Kim reflected, "I think I’m at a point where I want to feel more relaxed, both in my thoughts and emotions."
She also expressed admiration for dedicated professionals. "People shine when they are focused on their work. Seeing them excited and enjoying what they do gives me good energy as well."
Speaking about her role as Yoon Jeong Nyeon in tvN’s drama 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born,' which ended last year, Kim shared a heartwarming experience. "It was my first time feeling that such a wide range of age groups genuinely cherished a project. I especially heard many times that ‘my father is really into this show.’ Just imagining fathers sitting in front of their TVs at the broadcast time made me smile."
