G-Dragon indirectly referenced Big Bang on the first episode of 'Good Day.'
On the new MBC variety show that aired on February 23, the lead host G-Dragon and his guests Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Hae In, Im Si Wan, Kwanghee, and Lee Soo Hyuk—celebrities all born in the year 1988—joined G-Dragon's '88 Country.'
During the broadcast that day, Im Si Wan remarked, "It's really not easy for six of us to coordinate our schedules, and it's even harder for us 88-liners to gather like this, so it's great to be together. I'm excited and very curious about how this combination came together."
Kwanghee also shared, "Now it's really hard to make true friends. Even if you have feelings, it's not easy to get close, and I'm grateful for this opportunity." They also exchanged contact information, showing that they had grown closer.

Then Kwanghee said to Im Si Wan, "I remember meeting G-Dragon on a music show," adding, "If I were to be reborn, I would also like to be part of a trio group. I want to practice singing a lot."
In response, G-Dragon bluntly remarked, "It's not that we ever wanted to be a trio," which drew laughter as he indirectly expressed that Big Bang is not a group of three members by choice.
G-Dragon's bombshell remark surprised all the 88s, who burst into laughter, and Kwanghee, flustered, joked, "How could you do this to me, someone who came to help?"
Meanwhile, Big Bang is currently regarded as a complete group of three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Last November, G-Dragon released the new song "HOME SWEET HOME (feat. Taeyang, Daesung)," which received much love from listeners.
