Along with his solo comeback in seven years, G-Dragon has previously teased his new project ‘Good Day’, a music variety show to communicate his love for music and his fans.

Just ahead of the premiere on February 16, a teaser clip featuring actor Kim Soo Hyun has sparked much online buzz. Through the lead of comedian Jo Se Ho and musician Code Kunst, G-Dragon is brought to the gym located at Kim Soo Hyun’s company. Upon meeting, the two, who were both born in 1988, reveal that they were previously acquainted privately and exchanged phone numbers, but they have never contacted each other.

Among other amusing interactions, G-Dragon also spills on how they ended up on a long and awkward first phone call as he convulses in laughter. As G-Dragon’s agency consultant has the same name as the actor Kim Soo Hyun, G-Dragon once accidentally called the actor instead. But instead of hanging up, the two ended up conversing for a few minutes in the confused state, asking stuff like hobbies. G-Dragon expressed his love for hiking, but unfortunately, Kim Soo Hyun responded that he was not too fond of hiking, illustrating the unexpected phone call resembling a nerve-racking blind date.

Premiering on February 16, ‘Good Day’ is a music variety show led by G-Dragon, where he aims to gather artists from different fields to collaborate on making and enjoying music.
