According to Billboard on February 20 EST, HYBE Labels is working on launching its first American boy group, and has recruited producer Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic to come on board for the project.
Ryan Tedder will work alongside HYBE Labels chairman Bang Si Hyuk and HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, discovering capable talent through a global audition. Those who pass the audition will then undergo HYBE's K-Pop training program in Los Angeles, California.
The upcoming boy group is anticipated to be the sibling group of KATSEYE, launched by HYBE Labels x Geffen Records in June of 2024.
