aespa and ATEEZ are finally stepping into the KSPO Dome (formerly the Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul. Both groups, who are currently in the midst of overseas tours, will hold concerts at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul, on March 15-16 and 22-23, respectively, to conclude their tours.
A long-time recognized global top-tier groups, aespa and ATEEZ have faced challenges in securing solo concerts at the KSPO Dome, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after six and eight years since their debuts, they are now finally achieving their long-awaited KSPO Dome performances, raising expectations among K-pop fans both domestically and internationally.
The journey for these groups to return in triumph has already begun. aespa is in the final stages of their world tour, which started in June last year at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. Recently, the group has been touring North America and Europe, performing in cities across the US, Mexico, Canada, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain.
Having sold out early performances in cities like Seattle (their first North American stop), Oakland, LA, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt, aespa's encore concert at the KSPO Dome will be the grand finale of their tour, with all tickets for the two shows selling out as soon as they were made available.
ATEEZ, who started their world tour in January of last year, will be performing their "TOUR THE LIGHT: WORLD TO POWER FINALE IN SEOUL" at the KSPO Dome on March 22-23, after one year and two months of touring. Their agency, KQ Entertainment, has promised an upgraded setlist and stage to thank their fans for their support, as the finale will be held in Seoul, where the tour first began.
Recently, ATEEZ expanded their reach with a European tour, visiting cities like Switzerland and Manchester. On the 22nd, they will make history by holding a solo concert at the La Défense Arena in Paris, France, with a capacity of 40,000, becoming the first K-pop group to do so.
