Veteran actor Lee Yoon Hee has passed away at the age of 64, media outlets reported on January 11 KST.
Born in 1960, Lee Yoon Hee began his career in theater in 1985. He transitioned into a screen actor in 2007 by starring in 'Secret Sunshine', then went on to appear in productions like 'Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time', 'Miracle in Cell No. 7', 'The King', 'Song of the Bandits', and more.
It's said that the actor had no known illnesses and passed away suddenly, deeply saddening his loved ones and colleagues. In fact, Lee Yoon Hee had recently signed an exclusive contract with Beom Entertainment to pursue various projects. The agency stated, "We express our deepest condolences toward Lee Yoon Hee, who was passionately devoted to his art."
Lee Yoon Hee's funeral will be held on January 13 KST.
