Actress Ha Yully shared her thoughts on the conclusion of 'The Tale of Lady Ok.'

JTBC
's 'The Tale of Lady Ok,' which aired its final episode on January 26, depicted the intense survival and deception of Ok Tae Young (played by Lim Ji Yeon), a woman whose name, identity, and even husband were all fabricated, and Cheon Seung Hwi (played by Choo Young Woo), an artist who risked his life to protect her. The drama captivated viewers with its whirlwind plot twists, the fresh concept of identity laundering, and the stellar performances of its cast.

Amid the show's success, Ha Yully shared her reflections on the drama's conclusion through her agency, Starhaus Entertainment.

She expressed her gratitude, saying, "I want to thank the viewers who watched and loved 'The Tale of Lady Ok.' When I first met the character So Hye, I was worried about whether I could do her justice, but the director and writer believed in me and encouraged me, which gave me the courage to take on the role. I also want to thank the staff and senior actors who helped me portray So Hye, who is quite spiteful and mean, even more compelling."

She continued, "I am deeply grateful to everyone who worked hard on the filming, from the cold winter to the hot summer," showing her affection for the project. Finally, she added, "I was truly happy to play So Hye, and I learned a lot during filming. I will continue to grow and meet you all in better projects. Happy New Year," sharing her determination and New Year's greetings.

Ha Yully captivated audiences with her intense portrayal of Kim So Hye in the drama. Kim So Hye, the beloved daughter of Kim Nak Soo (played by Lee Seo Hwan) and the young mistress served by Gu Deok (played by Lim Ji Yeon), was perfectly embodied by Ha Yully, who showcased remarkable synergy with the character.

Kim So Hye, who initially pushed all her responsibilities onto Gu Deok and treated her rudely, earned the disgraceful nickname "Ddong (Poop) So Hye" after being humiliated by Gu Deok and struggling to find a suitable marriage partner. Filled with anger and a desire for revenge, So Hye transformed into a vengeful character. She stopped at nothing to track down the runaway Gu Deok, heightening the drama's conflicts and adding to its entertainment value.

Ha Yully perfectly captured the dramatic tension of Kim So Hye. Her performance, filled with venom and intensity, left a deep impression on viewers and maximized the drama's immersion. She was praised as "Kim So Hye herself" for her seamless integration with the character, successfully transforming her acting once again and earning acclaim from drama fans.

Following Ha Yully's latest interview, fans and viewers praised the actress's exceptional portrayal of Kim So Hye and commented, "She was amazing. Even though I knew it was acting, she played the role of such a nasty person so well that it felt like her true nature. Her portrayal of the villain was incredible," "She’s terrifying," "Scarier than any villain I’ve seen. Those eyes... utterly chilling," "How does someone with such a kind-looking face play every role so well?" "For someone who was so worried, she pulled it off brilliantly," "Set aside those worries. She truly was an extraordinary villain," and "She was so good... The character was irredeemable, but her performance stayed impactful until the end. I hope she goes even further in her career."
