On the 19th, the second episode of ENA’s 'Undercover', a cover influencer survival show, aired. Various cover influencers with unique stories took to the stage to perform live, while the fluctuating critiques from the 'TOP Listeners' added to the show's gripping atmosphere.

During the episode Seoryoung, a former member of the girl group GWSN took the stage. Seoryeong shared her painful story, saying, “I debuted in 2018. But due to the company’s poor circumstances, I was essentially neglected, which led to the group’s disbandment.” 

Hearing this, Kwon Eun Bi, who had also experienced a group’s disbandment, empathized with her, saying, “I know this feeling too well.” For the first time, Seoryoung performed alone, covering Kwon Jin Ah’s "I Got Lucky" with deep sincerity. However, Kwon Eun Bi, coldly assessing the performance, said, “It just feels like you’ve learned it well,” and chose to ‘delete’ her. Seoryoung, teary-eyed, said, “I want to tell myself it’s okay, and I’ll keep going.”

Kim Ye Chan, who debuted as a member of two different girl groups, also appeared. After debuting in 2015 with Awesome Baby, she re-debuted with Pink Fantasy in 2018. She shared, “In the 7 years I’ve been active, I received a total of zero in earnings. I worked many jobs, like delivery and at a cold noodle factory. Now I’m still working part-time at a meat restaurant while continuing my activities.” 

Her heartfelt performance brought tears to Kwon Eun Bi and the other cover artists. Kim Ye Chan, who moved the audience, earned a spot in the next round.

Do Dae Yun, who had been the subject of much anticipation with his return to the stage after 15 years, also made his appearance. Having participated in Superstar K3 at the age of 19 and topped the charts with a song, Do Dae Yun had left for the United States due to various issues, distancing himself from the public. “I gathered the courage to be disliked,” he said as he went into his performance. 

His trembling performance deeply moved Jung Jae hyung, who applauded him, saying, “I applaud you for making such a big decision. I was moved too,” and chose to ‘save’ him. Do Dae Yun also commented, “It was strange to be evaluated on my own instead of as part of a duo. Now I have the desire to make it to the second round,”.

From the third episode onward, the 'Playlist Team Battle' will take place, with the second round moving from the channel booth to the main stage. Only 30 out of 60 cover artists will advance to the third round, creating intense tension.
