Actor Yang Dong Geun shared his thoughts after hearing the actual voice behind the iconic 'Red Light, Green Light' game from Squid Game.
On January 3, Netflix Korea's YouTube channel uploaded a video titled, 'Behind the Scenes of the ‘Red Light, Green Light’ Scene | Highlight Reaction | Squid Game Season 2 | Netflix.'
The video featured cast members Lee Jung Jae, Im Si Wan, Park Gyu Young, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Sim, Lee Seo Hwan, and Jo Yu Ri as they unveiled behind-the-scenes stories from 'Squid Game Season 2', particularly about the 'Red Light, Green Light' game.
While watching the first game scene together, Yang Dong Geun commented, “When you hear the voice saying, ‘Red Light, Green Light’ on set, it feels really exciting at first. But after hearing it over and over again for days while filming, I started thinking, ‘Oh no, I really don’t want to hear this anymore.’”
Lee Seo Hwan added, “Everyone on set was saying the same thing, like, ‘Wow, this is going to stick in my head even when I go home!’”
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Jae joked, “Personally, I kept thinking, ‘I’m playing Red Light, Green Light again? Of all things, I’m back in this deadly game?’” His remark brought laughter to the group.
The video offers a fun glimpse into the actors’ experiences and sets the stage for the highly anticipated 'Squid Game Season 2'.
