In the latest episode of tvN's 'Rented in Finland', Cha Eun Woo candidly shared his struggles with physical fatigue, admitting that he felt guilty for skipping his usual workouts but was too exhausted to continue.
The show features Cha Eun Woo alongside fellow actors Lee Jae Hoon, Lee Dong Hwi, and Kwak Dong Yeon, as they immerse themselves in the rural lifestyle of Lapland, Finland. In this unique setup, the actors live without modern conveniences like electricity or the internet, aiming to experience the self-sufficient lifestyle that Finland is known for.
During the episode, the cast members arrived at their host Oiva's house, where they discovered that the accommodation consisted of a single room and a tree tent suspended in the air.
Despite initial reluctance, Cha Eun Woo and Lee Je Hoon began setting up the tree tent, jokingly stating, "Let’s make the tent nicely and let’s definitely make it for Lee Dong Hwi and Kwak Dong Yeon."
Meanwhile, Lee Dong Hwi and Kwak Dong Yeon went fishing at Oiva's personal lake. Due to the midnight sun, it was still bright at 10 p.m., leading Kwak Dong Yeon to comment on the unusual work life of Finnish actors, saying, "Don’t you feel sorry for Finnish actors? They can shoot daylight scenes until 10 p.m., but they can’t finish work until the sun sets."
Later, the group enjoyed traditional Finnish fish dishes together and decided on their sleeping arrangements. Lee Dong Hwi and Kwak Dong Yeon were assigned to the outdoor sleeping area, while Cha Eun Woo and Lee Je Hoon chose to share the tree tent.
However, Cha Eun Woo expressed his physical exhaustion, stating, "I used to work out for two hours every day without fail, but here, I haven't been able to exercise." He added, "I feel guilty about it, but by the time I have the energy to feel guilty, I'm too tired to do anything."
Cha Eun Woo's honest admission highlights the challenges the cast faces while adapting to the demanding conditions of rural life in Finland, offering viewers a deeper insight into the realities of their experience.
