Son Ye Jin showed her support for her husband Hyun Bin's latest film.
On the afternoon of December 19, Son Ye Jin attended the VIP premiere of the film 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min Ho) at the CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Dressed in a black coat, white T-shirt, and jeans, Son Ye Jin appeared on the photo wall, capturing attention with her radiant smile, which seemed brighter than ever. In a special show of support for her husband, she held up a placard with the movie’s title and posed with heart signs and other gestures to promote the film.
'Harbin' is a film set in 1909, depicting the intense pursuit and tension between those heading to Harbin with a shared purpose and those chasing them. In the film, Hyun Bin takes on the role of freedom fighter Ahn Jung Geun, delivering a passionate and powerful performance.
During promotional interviews for 'Harbin,' Hyun Bin expressed both his gratitude and guilt toward his wife, Son Ye Jin. He revealed that the production was mentally taxing, admitting, "Since I was constantly filming, I think my wife (Son Ye Jin) must have felt lonely."
He continued, "I knew from the beginning that this was going to be a challenging project because of its nature, but after it ended, my wife said, 'You worked hard. You did a great job.' Those words gave me so much strength. I know she must have had a tough time too, so I really appreciated her expressing that to me."
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin first met while co-starring in the movie 'The Negotiation' and later in the hit drama 'Crash Landing on You,' where their on-screen romance blossomed into a real-life relationship. The couple married in March 2022 and now have a son together.
Meanwhile, 'Harbin' is set to be released on December 24.
