Actress Jung Ho Yeon attended the world premiere event and pink carpet for Netflix's "Squid Game Season 2" (directed by Hwang Dong Hyuk) held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of December 9. This marked her first public appearance following her breakup with actor Lee Dong Hwi.

On October 26, Jung Ho Yeon's agency announced that she and actor Lee Dong Hwi had ended their 9-year relationship and decided to remain as good colleagues. The two began dating in 2015 and officially acknowledged their relationship in early 2016. Since then, they publicly supported each other’s careers and often displayed their affection for one another.
Even after rising to global stardom through Netflix’s 'Squid Game' in 2021, Jung Ho Yeon frequently expressed gratitude to Lee Dong Hwi. Similarly, when Jung Ho Yeon won Best Actress at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, Lee Dong Hwi shared his joy on social media, demonstrating his continued support for her.
Meanwhile, 'Squid Game Season 2' follows Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns with a vow for revenge, and the intense showdown with Front Man (portrayed by Lee Byung Hun) as the real game resumes. The series is set to be released on December 26.
