Girl group KISS OF LIFE has become a “chart-climbing icon.” Their recent mini 3rd album, 'Lose Yourself,' released last month, features the track 'Igloo,' which has gained popularity and achieved strong rankings on domestic and international charts.
As of the morning of November 11th, 'Igloo' ranked 63rd on Melon’s TOP 100 chart and was also listed on major domestic charts like Bugs, Flo, and Genie.
Their international popularity continues to soar. On Spotify’s daily chart, 'Igloo' has appeared in rankings for countries including Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. It’s also charting on Apple Music in Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. On YouTube Music’s weekly chart, the song reached 8th place domestically, with a rising trend in regions like Nigeria and Indonesia.
'Igloo' is an R&B hip-hop track with a message of melting even an igloo, which doesn’t melt with fire, with their unique charm. With a catchy melody, sleek rap, and dreamy vocals, the song’s distinctive attitude and choreography challenge have made it as popular as their title track 'Get Loud.'
This “chart-climbing success” is not new for KISS OF LIFE. The title track 'Shhh' from their debut album and Natty’s solo song 'Sugarcoat' climbed back up the charts unexpectedly near the end of their promotion period. Their mini 2nd album, 'Born to be XX,' also showed a resurgence months after its release, with tracks 'Bad News' and 'Nobody Knows' maintaining upward trends on the charts.
Following their Seoul performance, KISS OF LIFE has kicked off their first world tour, 'KISS ROAD,' receiving an explosive response from fans in Minneapolis, USA. They plan to continue meeting global fans in their upcoming shows.
