Jung Woo Sung is reconsidering his attendance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
On November 26th KST, his agency, Artist Company, stated, “We are concerned about the potential impact of this situation on the event and are reevaluating Jung Woo Sung’s participation. We are currently in discussions with the Blue Dragon Film Awards regarding the matter.”
Jung Woo Sung was originally scheduled to attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 29th as a nominee for Best Actor for his role in '12.12: The Day'. However, following controversies surrounding an extramarital child and multiple dating rumors, public criticism has intensified, leading to a reconsideration of his attendance.
On November 24th, it was revealed that Jung Woo Sung is the father of model Moon Ga Bi’s son, shocking the public. Moon Ga Bi had announced her childbirth on Instagram on November 22nd.
Jung Woo Sung’s agency commented, “We are discussing the best approach to raising the child. As a father, he will do his best for the child,” while refraining from addressing his relationship with Moon Ga Bi or any plans for marriage.
Meanwhile, even before the controversy subsided, Jung Woo Sung faced dating rumors with a non-celebrity woman. Separately, photos and videos of him with an alleged romantic partner have been leaked on various online platforms, sparking further criticism. Regarding this, his agency maintained, “We cannot confirm details about his private life.”
