Roo’ra’s Go Young Wook sparks another controversy with harsh criticism of Lee Sang Min
Former Roo’ra member Go Young Wook is under fire again for his relentless criticisms, now targeting Lee Sang Min. On November 11th KST, Go Young Wook posted on his social media, seemingly criticizing Lee Sang Min and fellow entertainer Tak Jae Hoon’s recent posts paying tribute to the late Kim Soo Mi.
Go Young Wook’s post read, “They should have cared more when she was alive,” adding, “Even with a night school education, the sentence structure and grammar in his tribute post is embarrassing. It’s amazing that he’s okay with posting this.” He then questioned how Tak Jae Hoon attended Kookmin University and implied he had an easy life.
Further, Go Young Wook questioned Lee Sang Min’s age and military exemption, alleging discrepancies. He wrote, “I won’t say more, but if I don’t say anything, I feel like I’d get sick. I have no desire to get any help from people like you.”
This is not the first time Go Young Wook has targeted Lee Sang Min. In April, he criticized Lee’s claims of repaying substantial debts, which led to public backlash. Go later apologized, calling it a slip of the tongue.
Go Young Wook’s continual airing of grievances and accusations against past acquaintances is wearing on netizens. Many have expressed fatigue with his repeated social media tirades.
Go Young Wook was convicted in 2012 for multiple counts of assault involving minors and served a prison sentence. Since his release in 2015, he has kept a low profile with minimal activity in the entertainment industry.
